I Miss You . . .
I hear her heartbeat in each breathtaking minute
Her sweet smell of innocence still lingers on my heart
Her fingers so tiny, yet her body so complete
Alas it was my loss when to the Earth she was placed
Four days she spent in this world so new
Yet to the Earth she returned much too soon
Sakinah was her name, this beauty angelic
It means peace and tranquility, truly fitting
I think back to the days when swollen I was
And wonder still though ten years have passed
Would another name have been better
Would she still have been here?
My destiny was such that she entered my heart
Alas shortly thereafter we were shaken apart
