I write poems
I paint poem
Poems dripping blood
Poems deep and sad
Sad and raw with emotion
Sad to read and behold
Behold the words
Behold the sadness
Sadness in bleeding poetry
Sadness in my deep sorrow
Sorrow that drips sadness
Sorrow that flows in poetry
Poetry I write of pain
Poetry penned in pain
Pain that stabs my heart
Pain that is endless
Endless until my last breathe
Endless dreams that torment
Torment all of my days
Torment in my soul and I pray
Pray for peace from above
Pray that my writing will be release
Release the emotion I hold within
Release the flood of tears flowing
Flowing words I write
Flowing tears I write
Write with wide-eyed innocence
Write my poems truthfully
Truthfully my words tell the story
Truthfully I lay bare my heart
Heart and soul written
Heart again and again to read
Read by those who honour me
Read by those with kindness
Kindness will be their response
Kindness will dwell in their words
Words that are mine
Words and poems mine
Mine that I gave birth to
Mine that are like my beloved children
Children I will ever protect
Children I accept with their flaws and treasure
Treasure all my poems
Treasure and weep for my poesy
Poesy that heals my heart and soul
Poesy that I must and need to write
Write with deep lamenting
Write with great love
Lamenting a life I must journey alone in
Love buried in tombs
