Notes About The Poem
written for the contest sponsored by Andrea Dietrich .. 3 am write. Hah!
I know not rhymes, swap
Stars brightly shine, up in the sky,
like peridots aching to fly,
unfurling sage dreams so divine.
Up in the sky, stars brightly shine.
I know not rhymes, to weave these views,
but in mere ethereal hues,
I knit violet prose sometimes.
To weave these views, I know not rhymes.
I see the light, sparkling in gold,
when this frail heart is caged and cold.
I hear jewels sing, as I write,
sparkling in gold, I see the light.
Muse is the moon, when ink is mute
revealing the deep timeless root~
of the faded flowers that croon,
when ink is mute, muse is the moon.
