I Heard

I heard that Love's
a splendid thing --
also heard how love
aches --
heard from many
how love can heal,
and from others how
deeply love hurts --

I guess, what I'm saying
in a roundabout way, saying
of love what I've heard...but,
take it from one, who has succeeded
at love, know that love requires
far more than words --

In the beginning..Was THE WORD.))) And so it will be ' at our end ' in the in-between we play, dear brother or friends.)

Indeed, God spoke the first and the last. Before and after, there is Word Alone. Not something He is apparently satisfied with. Just made a new post inspired by yours, Joe. A side note: Words have Creative Power. Why we must guard our own. Politicians, people in the media, seem never to learn. "World without end!" -- yes, I have read how that is not to be taken literally. But I do, for it makes perfect sense to me. Conscious transformation is eternal. We are made of God substance. God substance is forever conscious.

Indeed love requires many more things than mere words. It needs action- adjustment, sacrifice, commitment and much more. Beautifully expressed.

Words are concepts -- mere patterns of truth. Actions speak louder...though behind every motion, there is the word...and the thought that went into the word. Words are, subtle, latent living, powerful potential.

Hi Kim; love needs no affirmation other than its presence. Have a great writing day my friend.
