I Have Loved You

my voice is a graveyard,
buried within are the words
‘I love you’

my voice is a body of ghosts
holding on to your name,
pieces of the life they dream
of

my voice is a broken heart
and you are my prayer

and till I can touch the end
of the wavering branches of
existence, I will continue
to echo your name

I will continue to sing the
sun into forests until I find
you, my love

and when I do,
I would join the chorus of
mortality, I would lilt that
I have found you and
I have loved you

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
