I have been to the dark side of midnight And back again Love has run the gauntlet Fallen and risen a million times Moving slowly from negative to positive Until the heart has opened into the mind And the ego is no longer welcome to dance On the high wire of show and tell

Very metaphoric version of the ups and downs of love spelled out in most intriging worde use. From the title all the way through you made this one speak very eloquently
