"i Have a Wish"

“I have a wish, I want to share with you Before I leave. It is more than a wish, It is more than a dream, It is a sense I’ve lived with For many years. But, it is time to say goodbye, And tell you my secret I’ve never shared,” mumbled the young man. “Treasure what I say, For it is becoming extinct, It is a word I shall say From the bottom of my heart. It is so true; Where lies failed to corrupt it. Never forget what I am about to say, For I am leaving and never coming back,” coughed the young man. “I can not wish for better arms, I can not wish for better laps, I can not wish for better lips, I can not wish for better eyes, But I have to go now,” garbled the young man. “I don’t want to go, But then again I have to, Yet, I ask nothing more but, For you to listen carefully And remember what I shall say. I LOVE YOU MY DEAR, I ADORE YOU SO MUCH,” cried the young man. “Many say it without meaning it, But I really do mean it, For: ‘Every night in my dreams, I see you, I feel you, That is how I know you go on,’ cried the young man. The young man kept singing until: “ ‘Love was when I loved you One true time I hold to In my life we’ll always go on…’” His head lay on his dear’s laps As his head felt so light, Tears dropped from her eyes, Unto his face they fell, Trying to wake him up To continue the song, And continue their life, “ I shall never forget you, my love, I shall always treasure what you have said,” cried the young lady. “I LOVE YOU, MY DEAR, MY TREASURE, MY DOVE,” smiled the young lady.
