I Hate Those Two

new office is hilarious broom closet messy desk with someone else’s water bottle a variety of papers and workbooks, markers, strewn around no cleaning supplies. large enough space for two chairs a filing cabinet and a child’s desk where the mess is I get to clean someone else’s mess before I sit down. wow! Wonderful welcome No key yet either. I got here too early. The janitor lets me in. He is the third one I have met. The other two are bosses and not nice. He leans in and says “I hate those two.” I figure it will be okay now.

What a (perhaps unwitting) indictment of the American school workplace. I would have sent the kids to camp this year, if I had been in charge! Let 'em learn how to build a tent or start a fire, or something useful in life. :) gw

I had known this man from another school actually. Knew him for five years; had NEVER heard him say one single bad thing about anyone in all of that time. And I always get to work early. We used to talk about ten minutes before work every day - before the others arrived. So I know it's going to be a strange place now.
