I Hate That Dress
I hate that dress, I loved it once
Red as rubies outshone
Black as embers in the sky
I hate, don’t ask me why
Remember those moonlit nights
Moon shining so bright
Stars twinkling up above
On our eternal love
A kiss; or two before we parted
Each time; broken-hearted
We shed tears at parting of ways
Ah! Those where the days
The years went by, our love was strong
When did it all go wrong?
Who changed? Me or you!
Was there no more we could do?
So we stay but yet apart
Both playing each a part
Happy! But yet so sad
How could our love go bad?
