In the realm of multiple realities
I wish I'd have a lifetime
of meditative contemplation
where I'd have spent my days
in gratitude and admiration.
I'd have contemplated
the magic that is the universe
and how it works
with all its cogs and gears.
I'd have taken in the majesty
of nature's beauty and serenity
in all its every splendid detail.
I wish I'd learned
to still my mind at will
when peace is all
that's ever wanted in the end.
