I Felt In Heaven In My Attic Room

I felt it heaven in my attic room Overtaken by a silent peace through parted curtains I saw it was the snow had come to veil the land with ribbons from the sky. ©Kathryn McLoughlin Collins

Marvelous language and imagery! There certainly is a 'silent peace' to this piece!! There is a peace unlike any other after a fresh snowfall... Keith

:-) I too have felt Heaven in surprising places. I felt it in firm, wet sand once as I heard a family laugh. Lovely, this. Much with little. I'm sipping coffee and reading, knowing a monkey is about to explode awake any minute. Hugs to you and thank you for the warmth and energy and friendship you are bringing to the Soup Mix... Cyndi
