I Feel So Faraway

"Collect moments not things . . . " In a moment, all I love was taken faraway, everything I treasured far-flung and so distant; just a daydream of what was my wonderful life, and I am left lost in thoughts of my yesterday. Miles away from today at times, dreaming of what was my life; wondering, can I find it again, or is it gone? Perhaps not to exist, gone faraway now; and I must start anew, again make a new life. Start over, oh how many times has that been? But deep inside I find the strength and begin, a new life chapter . . . ______________________________ July 8, 2017 Poetry/Verse/I Feel So Faraway Copyright Protected, ID 07-918-770-08 All Rights Reserved, 2017, Constance La France Written for the Standard contest, Far away Sponsor, Nayda Ivette Negron, Judged 07/2018 Sixth Place

One's strength lies not in remaining fallen, but rising up yet again:) I commend your strength, Constance, all will be well soon:)

So right you are. Days passing by. All are going far away. Yet hope for the best. Sank in your thoughts. Congrats
