I Do Not Take Orders From Cats
You have to add kibble and mice and things that have fur,
This was added by my cat friend, Mrs. Not So Demure.
And we have to have feathers, don’t forget that!
This was said by her persnickety friend, Mr. All About Cat.
I am a dog, and do not take my orders from the like.
I ran down the street and chased a boy on a bike.
I would add a bone to my poem, and something to chew.
Yes, my poem would have something fun to bite my teeth into.
A skunk came out of nowhere and gave me a flash.
My eyes are now all watery, and the stench is so brash!
I cannot see the paper, so cannot write anything at all.
I guess I’ll leave it to the cats; this skunk sure had some gall!
