I Do Not Know
Can I teach you about life’s little trick?
The path to Eden doesn’t exist;
It lights up beneath your feet
You don’t preach the light;
you remove the flickering bulb.
You don’t teach what’s real;
you show what isn’t.
You don’t unlock the heart;
you stop guarding the door.
You don’t summon God’s voice;
you stop interrupting it
You don’t find the answers;
you stop asking the wrong questions
Where truth burrows
And real reveals.
Darkness stops being dark,
when you add some light
Because you don’t know
until you know.
And we must jump
to know what there is to land on.
