I Cry

I sit here and cry for all the lost
The victims of our world in conflict
The innocent should not pay the cost

These tears a coming horror predict
Mothers and children blown away
The victims of a world in conflict

We talk yet we have nothing to say
Not understanding what's going on
Mothers and children blown away

With blood spilled is the victory won
Survivors haunt ghost towns as they wait
Not understanding what's going on

We cannot leave the outcome to fate
Watching the destruction of the weak
Survivors haunt ghost towns as they wait

Rise from our silence it's time to speak
No longer looking the other way
Watching the destruction of the weak

The helpless do not know what to say
I sit here and cry for all the lost
No longer looking the other way
The innocent should not pay the cost

Part two of the teamwork contest.
Alternating verses me then Eileen.

This is one of the best collaborations that I have read in a while ! Both of you have depicted the human suffering. This is a very sensitive issues. Hope we all learn to live in peace...100 / 100 on this great collaboration. ..
