An old poem I had written on insta befo and won in a writersaroundtheworld contest  I think fits still my mindset.
not posting now for any contest

I bleed poetry to heal through midnight confessions. Mistress’s ink does not seek your caramelized validation; it has no desire to please your feed of presumed perfection. I’ve never tamed this skill as an online profession; this is just an unbreakable obsession~ I’m drowning in for a distraction. Don’t question my hazy metaphors, veiled away from towering thorns of introspection, too vague and meaningless for the skies adorned with sleeping stars. These scribbles of sentimental symbolism may cause digressing reactions, for I’ve been sewing a waltzing nightmare, whilst counting syllables within concocted connotations, surfing through wicked schemes of sunset-colored sestinas to sunflower sonnets. Now I knit hyacinth haikus in honeysuckle hues, woven from pristine petals amidst wilting wilderness, awaiting twilight that would awaken words written in repetitive refrains, reigniting the flames between spaces on fragrant pages, so dreams will no longer be more peaceful than the air I breathe. Although these lines do not rhyme with teal-green tides that sketch turquoise beginnings, I still hope time can maybe guide this canvas home.

Inky, once again I stand in awe of your poetic expression! Your imagery takes color and paints it into your transparent emotions through touches of alliteration and the metaphor of poetry itself - the expression of your ultimate uniqueness in words of hope! So beautifully written, my friend. Sending you blessings of blessed revivals, dear friend. Samzy!

Dear Empress, Wow, a raw, unfiltered expression of your soul poured onto the page. Your refusal to conform to societal expectations and your unwavering commitment to your craft shine brightly through every line. The imagery you create and the emotions you evoke within anyone who has ever felt the pull of artistic obsession. Empress, thank you for sharing this piece of your heart with the world. Another Fav! - Blessings, My Friend, Daniel

Your poetry always astounds me. Your use of alliteration and metaphors is surpassed by the emotions you convey. For what is poetry without emotion? A masterpiece.

lovely alliterations, dear Ink. These lines stood out to me: I’ve been sewing a waltzing nightmare, whilst counting syllables within concocted connotations, surfing through wicked schemes of sunset-colored sestinas to sunflower sonnets. You're still bleeding poetry, Ink, and in a lovely way. I enjoyed this read...wishing you a stellar evening, hugs, Sara

Everything that you have made, Dear Ink, is utterly unique and utterly fascinating. Skillfully weaving together nuanced feelings and striking images, your poems—and this one in particular—appear to me as an in-depth exploration of poetic expression. Your remarks are full of authenticity and go against the grain of accepted cultural norms. Poems like this one stand as monuments to the healing and defiant power of poetry. Through the use of an introspective tone, free poetry, and vivid visuals, it delves into issues of inner intricacy, aversion, autonomy, and forgiveness. The great depth of emotion and sincerity in your writing makes it a striking and captivating poem that skillfully showcases the transformative power of poetry.

I dont think any poet needs to justify why they write and post.. There are poets who just like to express, some who use poetry to heal and some who just like to enter contests for fun... There are some who want to improve, so will look for feedback.. I just write without needing people to tell me how i can do it better or improve, personally I dont care.. I express as a form of catharsism and to help my mind tick over...

For me your poem is a powerful testament to the therapeutic and rebellious nature of writing. Through rich imagery, free verse, and a confessional tone, it explores themes of healing, independence, obsession, and the complexity of your inner life. The emotional depth and authenticity of the poem create a compelling and resonant piece that speaks to the transformative power of poetry...

Magnificent! This was lovely written dearest Ink. I love the purity, sincerity, realness and calmness in this piece. A soul's whisper. "this is just an unbreakable obsession~I’m drowning in for a distraction." A feeling in unison. But then it can be both. Cheers.
