I Believe
I've always ran from you.
No matter what I was going through.
I am well aware you knew.
And now I'm realizing that its true.
My life has always been so hard.
I always stay on top my guard.
I know I am now scared.
I shouldn't of ventured out my yard.
I'm in a better place.
I can wear a smile upon my face.
I know life's not a race.
Yet victory I now can taste.
Faith is all I needed.
I no longer feel I've been defeated.
By God I have been greeted.
My life can one day feel completed.
I see God in all I do.
I am in love now with the view.
You can feel him too.
You just have to follow through.
