I and the Eye
Shah Jahan had dreamed of immortalising his love and built the Taj Mahal. The Wright brothers dreamed of flying and invented the first successful airplane. Christopher Columbus, dreamed of exploring and sailing the Atlantic seas in search for a western route to the Orient and discovered America. Hillary dreamed of reaching the far-fetched mountains and was the first to scale the summit of The Mount Everest .
Teresa dreamed of healing the world and became Saint Teresa. I am no Shah Jahan, no Wright brothers, no Christopher Columbus, no Edmund Hillary or any Saint Teresa. I know when I grow up I will have the responsibility like any other man and I will definitely be earning enough for a respectable living. But I also have a dream and wished my mother could have at least been patient enough to have heard of it instead of stomping out of the room.
I and the Eye
Is there a difference?
The Eye lives without
And the I lives within.
The Eye sees the outer world
And the I sees the inner world.
The Eye sees pains and heartbreaks
And the I wants to heal those pains and heartbreaks.
The Eye sees the obstacles
And the I ventures to remove those obstacles.l
The Eye sees people bickering and clashing
And the I finds ways to stop that bickering and clashing.
The Eye has a vision
And the I has a mission.
The Eye has a dream
And the I builds that dream.
I and the Eye
Is there a difference?
I am the Eye
So where is the difference?
Trust the I and the Eye
It will make no difference.
