I Am Missing Something

ice cold water the key to Mommy’s flakiest pie crust I know this yet there must be something else I am missing My crust is hard and tough not tasty or flaky Is it possible there must also be an appreciation or love for baking?

Kissing the dough, praying over it and the timing must be right! So my husband made roladin (only once) for a Christmas crowd, many years after we were married as his dear departed mother, in his ear, whispered what he would likely have forgot...true story.

All mom in the world knows that how to make a good crust and each and all miss if it is not getting. Though sir your baking is very hard and not tasty but you deserves appreciation as it is done by your own.

oh that is too clever, Caren! I remember how i could never get crust to work out either. However, I adore cooking and baking. Just not good with crust!!

I have to say there is something about a woman who knows how to make a good crust. I have no idea how but wow, the after effects are amazing!

My mother swears by this icy water, yet it has not ever worked for me so there is something else. Elusive and absent.
