Notes About The Poem
Let's Get Emotional - Personification In A Sicilian Quntain Stanza Sponsored by- Andrea Dietrich Rhyme-ababa Five lines only, as Personification of an emotion

I Am Fear

Here I sit, as the King upon my throne. Logic bound and gagged by Fight and Flight. Amygdala, my Kingdom of hormones, turn up heart rate, improve hearing and sight. Perspiration, my signature cologne.

When we grow fearful, our heartrate will go up and perspiration will soak the body. When Amygdala, the seat of emotions is activated, it will produce many changes in the body and mind. A great entry, dear Crystol. All the Best.

Thanks so much Valsa! You are correct... and anxiety disorders are like a faulty wire in the works that initiate that response for no reason! Thanks for the visit and chat! Xo
