I Am Enough

I am enough

I see the loom
That spins our fate
Each thread among the other
Love, a few lies, death and hate

I am enough

I hear the sea
That swallows our pride
Each wave drowning the rest
Swim and tread, no where to hide

I am enough

I smell the roses
That mock our existing beauty
Each petal preening
Envy and jealousy, reality

I am enough

I feel the sun
That warms my skin
Each ray reach my heart
Moments away from each sin

I am enough

I taste the sugar
That releases me from pain
Each one melting from existence
Nothing to lose, nothing to gain

I am enough
