I Am Asleep
Readers, listen unto me:
what a strange discovery!
I'm aware that I am sleeping,
as about the world I'm creeping;
which means, if I'm not mistaken,
you'll disappear when I awaken;
or could it be that as I'm dreaming,
only I'm insanely seeming;
and you are in the here and now.
This, I will happily allow.
For this reason, therefore, hence,
please wake me up so I make sense.
