I Am One, I Am Many, I Am All, I Am Few
I AM ONE, I AM MANY, I AM ALL, I AM FEW
People may say tell me about yourself
Kids? Job? Tastes?
No I will not tell you these things.
I am many things - but these are not me
I am one who
Is pleased to be a man who is capable;
Who can cut it when the pressure’s on;
Who hopes for the best, and expects absolutely nothing
And as a result, is never disappointed.
I am all the things a man should be
Like a reliable helper, and not looking for help;
A deep thinker who enjoys new thoughts from others;
Sympathetic to the needy and downtrodden,
Impatient with the rich and aggrandized.
I am few of the typical types found among men.
Music feeds my soul, as does the smile of a child.
Ambition drives me on, but only when I allow it.
Mistakes – I’ve made lots, but not the same one twice.
Can’t take myself or life too seriously, I just gotta laugh.
