I Am Bored With Nothing
I AM BORED WITH NOTHING
Something which ceases to interest me
In one way, will start to interest in some other.
Maybe the guy’s lecture is dull, see?
But it’s still fun trying to figure out another.
-Why he wears a certain type or size
Of clothing on certain occasions. Knew
A professor once who wore big bow ties
Only when the exams were due.
-Or how he uses the same phrases so often :
That professor’s favourite was ”as it were”.
I kept a record, and this boffin
Used it a thousand times a year.
-Or maybe the number of times he would cough.
He would cough if he wasn’t certain of his material,
-Or when the computer switched itself off -
Always a source of amusing potential.
All these are great for amusement
And maybe even learning and insight :
I could never miss a lecture with him spent,
Even on a cold rainy night.
