I

I see myself.
I am tall,
I am fair,
I have blue eyes,
I have brown hair,
I am beautiful,
Or am I?

I hear myself.
I listen closely to my angelic voice,
I cherish others saying how perfect I am,
Why am I speaking to myself?
Why am I seeking someone else’s sound?
Am I not enough?

I feel myself.
I tremble at the melodious beating of my chest,
Why doesn’t it ever stop?
Why aren’t I the happiest among all?
Something does not feel correct,
Am I not perfect anymore?
I feel my heart skip a beat.

What treacherous sorcery is this?
Who could inflict such harm upon me?
Why am I no longer loved?
Do you not like me?

I know myself,
Am I me?
Am I you?
Or am I both?
Am I God?
Or am I just a speck of someone else’s thought?
Am I both?

I me myself.
I am you.
I am me.
I am one and I am all.
I am the One above all.
