My soul can hear a child cry, its tears tethered to the wind. Children shackled to poverty and death without a future and bereft of love struggle to survive in a world of greed. We choose to ignore their plight yet call ourselves God-fearing. We pretend to care if they live or die, but the fact is, we feel little for them; reduced to entertainment on the news. We drop to our knees and pray that God will forgive our sins. But we think we have found a loophole in God's Commandments: unconditional love cannot blame us for using our free will. But He said, "Love each other," that choice was not left to us. Humans are hypocrites and charlatans who claim to be compassionate beings, and yet we're reluctant to get involved. We view it as make-believe, such suffering can't be true?

So true Emile. The worst are groups that take money that people send in to help those in need that never gets to the ones who need it. Bless all who are suffering. I do send in money and just hope those who are claiming to help are honest. Have a wonderful Easter Emile. : ) xxoo
