As fresh and as fragrant, colored hyacinths, That intoxicates one with heavenly scent. So may my true, original form of artful poetry, Bloom and blossom, escaping cells of the past. To spring into action at each sunrised day! Not wondering where my poetic desire be. For truly, as a new child grows free…. And this style takes on its own shape. I, no longer resist, creating my own fate! ******** Greek Legend has it that Hyacinthus, a young man from Greece, was beloved by Apollo. He was teaching him how to throw the discus. Accidentally, it hit him in the head and killed him. Instantly!! Out of his head, the ground soaked with his own blood, grew the flower, named in his honor of his Name…. Hyacinthos. The petals were marked with “Alas”, for sorrow.! Panagiota Romios. Romios Poem I “In My Own Style”

I was thinking of you yesterday, Michelle! I wanted to express The joy I have when you tear me!I have a terrifily painful right arm right now, yikes, Hyacinths are lovely.like you~ the legend of Hyacinthos, is a moving and dramatic one, more than happy to share with you. Learning is a joy! Maybe that is why I lived teading, which is a form off sharing..I learned much from my beautiful students. Those were as beautiful as hyacinths, the glory of my days. Gratefully, Pangie xx

Bob, and I find your poetry, creative! I hope I never develop a big head. Here or elsewhere! Nor become braggadocios here, or elsewhere! I don’t see poetry as a race to win. It can be, but of corse. I just like to communicate real life experiences.not bray good at esoteric story telling or jokes. There are many here who are. My ship is the SS self-Discovery.thank you … Panagiota xx

Elena~I do not consider myself, amazing at all. Just a poet who likes adventure into the unknown, Where there are no musts. A place of no prizes, but one of self discovery…going forward in small steps, I still can use the forms available! I found the story suseqyent to my write I had no idea about the Greek origins ! Gratefully, Panagiota xxx
