My Resolution

It's time to think about just how each New Year's day, I'll make a vow to then improve on things I do that will be better, and I pray, they're not an act of whim or play. I plan to see my year renew with finer choices to be made; the ones to keep, the ones to trade. Consider, as I think it through, what are the best ones I'll decide to bring me peace and inner pride... not ones I'll quickly bid adieu. It's time to think about just how another plan would soon allow a greater year with a new trend; new resolution meant to last, not end in days just like the past. Be joyful in the task, attend those which I will be very proud to share and talk about out loud. I will resolve...be a good friend, and seek those ways to lend a hand in gentleness without command; with care and kindness love, extend. To give and take with gracious care, and do all things the best I can; to spread the joy of life with flair. Sandra M. Congratulations Sandra. I especially liked the rhyme and rhythm; and the touch of having a trio of lines at the end. Also your self analysis ended up in a heartfelt place.
