 trees hide hunter's camp

deer have no place to hide....

acres stripped of trees

a real good poem. Much evocative.....indiscriminate felling of trees is a catastrophically self-made disaster we are facing today. The animals are far more vulnerable. Excellent write, Sara. Hugs!>rajat.

Rajat, Thanks for the visit to my page. It looks as if they are going to cut the ajoining plot of timber which will be even harder on wildlife. It looks like they might be preparing to replant the trees though. Sara

Maureen, Thanks for dropping by. Well, I got a chuckle of how the deer camp was in the trees somewhat hidden but the deer and other animals have not place to hide. It is sad to seem them clear cut but they are going to replant so it seems. Sara

LM, A strip of land on the road that we live has been clear cut except for a strip around the deer hunter's camp. I do see a dozier on the hill which probably means they will chop and replant it in pines. Thanks for dropping by. Sometimes it doesn't turn out well but it seems they will replant it probably only in pines though. Sara
