Humanity

H uman beings often fill me with rage, the
U nwanted and unloved of this world are ignored
M ankind can see suffering and just walk by
A nd when I see the daily news I want to scream, we must
N ourish our souls by showing compassion and helping, or
I nside we will shrivel up, we must find a way to help
T oday, tomorrow and everyday we must serve humanity, and
Y ou and me, must help not just the human race but the animals too.

Great Acrostic, Broken Wings! Sad and insightful; sometimes someone has to hold up the mirror, so we can see exactly who we've become. Congrats on your win. Regards, John.

So sad but an honest assessment of today's humanity, our cruelty will not go unpunished, congrats Constance on a fine win!

So much sadness in these amazingly selected photographs. Perfect for your amazing write Broken Wings! We all need more compassion. (Do you need an "n" after the U?) Best of luck in the contest!! Best, Judy

YES! We should help those that are less fortunate! My wife and I try to help at the homeless shelter whenever we can! It humbles you to see those that are so much less fortunate strive for their happiness in life! I really loved your write on this subject, the photos you shared brought out such a strong emotion to me that I teared up when I saw them! I felt sorrow, and pain for those depicted! What a fabulous piece, great Work!!
