How Much Is the Cat In the Window?

                 How much is the cat in the window?
                   The one that’s standing up
                 How much is the cat in the window?
               I do hope that kitty is available

                 I don’t want a turtle or a snake
               I don’t want a bowl of fish or a guinea pig 
               I don’t want a cute rabbit or a bird
              You can’t give them things a hug

                 How much is the cat in the window?
               The one that’s standing up
                I have a slight problem at home
                And if I have a cat then maybe
                 the rodents will  leave
