Notes About The Poem

6/27/2025 for Summer Funny Lyric Poetry Contest sponsored by Tania Kitchin

How I Spent My Summer

When summer's over, ask what I did.
Did I visit Paris or Madrid?
Nope, I flew a red kite,
admiring its swift flight,
while I skipped and jumped just like a kid.
