How Cruel We Reside
And I could feel;
The flicker in the light,
Of my prayers breathe, away.
Still I utter: “this was never meant...”
And dream another day.
Of a perfume swirl, my sirens lust,
Within a city drowned in fairy dust,
Up, magic bean of twisted stalk,
Not on dreams to tread, but, in dreams to walk.
For what’s left of my mind,
Emotions have gone astray,
My own pulsing,
I never knew this way,
...Could never feel inside.
How cruel we reside,
In someone else’s dreams.
