How Can You Explain the Wind

I am standing on the ground again
With my feet deeply engraved in the earth
And the sweet blossom of the button bush
Enthrall me in nature and spread my sweet aroma
my spirit synchronize with the green trees
waiting patiently for the grand jubilee
I sit on edge of the overpass bridge with my feet
dangling above the stagnant water
Listening to careless whispers
and watching birds singing sweet music
and spying on each other
The eyes of the evil storm has passed
And I wet my feet in the pond water
Fish swims right under my feet
looking for something to eat.
I can't see it but I can feel it
I can't touch it but I can hear it
It's presence is everywhere
Making music far and near
Big trees and little trees
respond to the sound of the whistling wind
Don't let me disturb you
you look very happy today
They pass and greet me along the way
I watch the Lilly pads floating
Drifting on the surface of the big dirty pond
And the humming birds sitting on a branch
looking at everyone
She speaks and he answers
He shouts and she whispers
The viscous winter has gone away
making way for a brand new day
Lilly pad permeates the pond
with bright pink and white flower sitting on top
The frogs have disappeared
and the pink flowers reappear
How can you explain the wind.
