How Am I

How am I supposed to feel
When you get caught up and disappear
You say our love is as tough as steel
And lately all I get are tears

How am I supposed to see
All the dreams of years to come
To be a life of our unity
When two lives parallel an equation sum

How am I supposed to hear
When voice's project into the hollow
A boomerang of words draw near
And bounces right off making it hard to swallow.

How am I supposed to live
Without souls half inside my bubble
Pouring through the holes like a sieve
Tearing up my soul to pieces oh so subtle

How am I supposed to trust
Love goes up and down without a warning
Making it feel like all is Lust
Till one shuts down before a mourning

How am I supposed to believe
When I have heard those words a thousand times yet
Only to find, once more I'm naive
Once again to lose at life's love bet
