How

How far would you travel to discover your own truths If there was no one and no borders to stop you How old would you wish to be If only you counted the years or candles on your cake How long would you hold true to your beliefs If all that was believable were to vanish once you let go How deeply would you care for the opinions of others If your mirror reflected no conscience How much of you would you surrender to rescue me If there was nothing in it for you How close would you dance in the arms of a moonbeam If the only music playing was the sound of your heartbeat How deeply would you surrender to passion If she fulfilled everything but guaranteed nothing How long could you love truly If love demanded only the truth from you How bravely would you stand by the one you love If it meant standing against all odds How will you know when you have reached your dreams When there is nothing held in your dreams that is about you How much of you would you truly risk If loving someone was truly dangerous How long would you wait for someone If they promised to return someday How sweetly would you sing If only the deaf were listening How far would you reach for me If you heard my tears in the wind How much of me should I surrender to rescue you If there was nothing in it for me Michael B Poyntz ‘Irish ‘ Qualicum Bay 2009

I really like your questioning format I use it myself alot. Very adult quandrys! Though to be poetry I would want to see a few poetic vehicles metaphors simile alliteraton, still I enjoyed the read. Light & Love
