House
A sturdy structure of brick and wood upon a summit sits
The family told that they must leave
The bank has won the bet
While being evicted from the house, they know all has not been lost
They have something priceless that the bankers cannot touch
It's all of their fond memories, while living in the house
The family gone
The house sits dark
NO
Cheerful laughter
Doorbell ring
Togetherness at dinner time
Hugs and kisses
Sleepy heads when the clock strikes nine
Warming fire in the fireplace
Furniture in its place
Fun and games
Holiday gatherings
Life at all
Just a shiny new FOR SALE sign on the front lawn
