The kind nurse says that each color On the wires go to the same color On the little box Each with a circle and square The wires go to my heart They tie me to the bed "Easy to pull out I cry!" And go to the potty I put them back in my bed But all by myself The machine makes alarms and bright lights But nobody comes Even when your finger makes nine more wire beeps I am free but tied down again Feeling as smart as a nurse Putting them back on by myself I feel the squeeze against my arm thin
