Hospital
The kind nurse says that each color
On the wires go to the same color
On the little box
Each with a circle and square
The wires go to my heart
They tie me to the bed
"Easy to pull out I cry!"
And go to the potty
I put them back in my bed
But all by myself
The machine makes alarms and bright lights
But nobody comes
Even when your finger makes nine more wire beeps
I am free but tied down again
Feeling as smart as a nurse
Putting them back on by myself
I feel the squeeze against my arm thin
