Just as it was in the days of Noah…as it was in the days of Lot, people went on eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, marrying…until the day…the flood came…until the day…fire and sulfur rained from heaven destroying them all…It will be like that on the day the Son of Man is revealed. (From Luke 17:26-30)

I looked and there was a white horse…a fiery red one…a black horse…a pale green horse (the lamb, who is the only one worthy opens up the seals on the scroll) (From Revelation 6:1-8)

(A second rider on a white horse is revealed in Revelation 19:11-16) A sharp sword came from his mouth (the word of God)

Horse Color Cannot Be Ignored Intentions, cryptic, in pockets. Fiery darts lampooned in sockets. The bow is a clue; not a sword. Horse color cannot be ignored. Wielding war’s arms, removing peace, Men turn on each other, decrease. Burning core, where anger is stored - Horse color cannot be ignored. Black as soot; rider holds grub scales In hand; deprivation prevails. Looking at the day prices soared; Horse color cannot be ignored. O the wretchedness of pale green. Adds plague and wild animals, mean. The ark, a save; won’t get on board. Horse color cannot be ignored.

The last line hits hard and powerfully, and...wow, so this is where the expression "that's a horse of a different color" originates - Revelations!

Deep use of Scripture. I will be honest, I do not know much about the Revelations - it's complex, but you're poem is so soothing anyway in the face of great turmoil.

Yes, true! The faithful and true, in the end, will wield his word like a double-edged sword.

I appreciate you saying so. These are the hardest writes for me. I am going to two bible studies on the book of Revelation, one is from September to May. The other is like a quick recap. xx
