I rouse from a delicious dream open my sleepy eyes golden rays stream through a tiny chink in closed curtains Refreshed and rejuvenated I bound out of bed full of optimism for the new day ahead Life is so unpredictable I cherish each morning I wake and hope like the sun I will continue to rise for many years to come 2/8/19

I, too, hope you will "rise like the sun" for decades to come, Jan. There is a joyful sense of hope in this poem and it shows the reader what a lively, positive thinker you are!
