Hope Awaits

Here, I lie motionless like the tint
of ocean's breath. A roulette's fading stars
glistens in tidal whisper of night,
and the incredibly sentient call
 of migrant birds wing
on ribs of leaves where tenderness
gushes with tenderness.

clouds are scattering
in the midst of a blank pause...
lies a full mantle

Beautifuly written haibun, nette. the mantle is especially effective. I am amazed at how you can fit such imagery in three short lines. I have been reading too much minimalist haiku which lacks color sometimes almost completely. Thank you too for commenting on my Reshaping the Plea.

I like your vision of accepting opposites and then giving rise to the call of inspiration in the end. Brilliant poem, Nette!
