Notes About The Poem

Hope and Mushrooms

This world needs more hope
Mushrooms that fly
And swings with no rope
Under bright stars and night sky

Mushrooms sprout in the black forest of lore
Under which live dancing elves
Who give hope by the score
Magical is laughter that fills young hearts

Hope and mushrooms
Now that's what we need
Hope gives happiness
And mushrooms our dreams

MORE HOPE AND MORE LOVE , THIS DARK WORLD NEEDS BOTH NOW MORE THAN EVER, IMHO. Love the mythical reference, "in the black forest of lore" and "live dancing elves" What are we, if we can not, do not care to give Hope to the young? A fav...
