Hope
So many depressing dark nights were you there
Giving me some hope small where there was none
Showing me that there is someone who will care
When it comes to humbleness none do compare
Certainly of your kind have I only met just the one
So many depressing dark nights were you there
To live in happiness I can imagine and now dare
Where there was nothing something has begun
Showing me that there is someone who will care
The shodowing abyss for years has been my lair
Playing with somber words, it really isn't that fun
So many depressing dark nights were you there
Imagining the sweet scent of your soft silky hair
All my skepticism and viciousness will be undone
Showing me that there is someone who will care
I wait for the moment that we share our first stare
The light that shines from you brighter than the sun
So many depressing dark nights were you there
Showing me that there is someone who will care
