Hope
The sun will shine tomorrow
Yet the darkness is as a velvet blanket
Carelessly thrown over the land
Yet the darkness is as a smuggler's cap
Measured with precision to fit the earth
Yet the darkness is as a boxer's glove
Silently stroking earth’s inhabitants
Yet the darkness is as a worn out shoe
Supporting the sum of the weight of mankind
Yet the darkness is as one who just gave birth
Who sleeps and cannot see the morn
Yet nothing can halt the coming of the dawn
The sun will shine tomorrow
