Hope

to all who faced Katrina Washed away--- Memories of scenes of the past Scattered like debris And yet you wonder if there’s life After all this going on And after all that has happened. Washed away--- Homes emerged under water Like boats out to sea. We see it on our television screens And wonder Just wonder why but Questions like that goes unanswered. Washed away--- Gone! With a trace of hope A lifetime Gone! Life seems lifeless Useless But there are some Who picked up where they left off And keeps going No matter what! No pity here. Just prayers Support for those in need No pity here No pity needed. Hope. Hope in something better Faith In a God who cares No pity here no pity needed…
