Honest Doctor
My doctor is like no other,
he treats me like a brother.
Never unfair nor dishonest
in diagnosis or prognosis;
he tells me all just as it is –
a trait he’s known for best.
During my recent physical,
with expertise and acumen,
he revealed nothing amiss,
my health sound and admirable.
And with beaming pride
of a respected professional
said I’d make a fine specimen
in formaldehyde.
