Homesick
Seawater ripples
Unlike that of our lake
The waves are rich
And voluptuous
Thick and tumultuous
They pack a punch
Releasing a luscious rumble
In contrast to this harsh rocky coast
Our lakeshore is calm and still
Looking out the window
It makes me blue and homesick
