My shoes are dirty, but yet I walk on;
My mouth is full, so I shallow;
My hands are cold so I rub them;
later I put them in my pocket..
My clothes are dirty, yet I still wear them;
Got no washer or dryer or extra money;
So I just spray on extra deodorant;
Guess I'm not that pleasant to be around then
So this is my reality
Homeless, improvised, yet I'm free;
Go to the shelters, all I have is my tattered bible
Jesus and God and Me
This is the homeless testimony
You might be at the kitchen
You throw me some food and I don't know what I'm eating;
But I am forever glad and grateful;
Yes, this is my reality
Still I got Jesus and God and Me
This is my homeless testimony
So when you see me panhandling
Don't roll your eyes and windows and scream at me;
I might or might not be that angel God's talkin bout;
Don't judge me
For you ain't got no heaven nor hell to put me;
My clothes are dirty, yet I still wear them;
Got no washer or dryer or extra money;
So I just spray on extra deodorant;
Guess I'm not that pleasant to be around then
So this is my reality
Homeless, improvised, yet I'm free;
Go to the shelters, all I have is my tattered bible
Jesus and God and Me
This is the homeless testimony
At the least pray for, pray for me as I will ....
Pray for you...Jesus and God and Me
This is the homeless testimony
