Homebound

Home, all alone On a snowy January day My frozen driveway Exceptionally cold, Bitter cold, I’d say, On this foul Friday Understandably gloomy, Never so lonely now … Disappointing, anyhow! written January 28, 2022

This is why I play word games with about 80 friends a day; I have contact with people constantly!

That is good, Caren. It is important that we stay in touch with our support groups during this kind of self-imposed restriction.

Cold and lonely are a bad match, but a good topic for an Acrostic poem, it seems. Well written as always. Thanks for sharing your thoughts of this day, Milt. Bill

Thank you, Bill. I suppose I am most lonesome when I am forced to stay inside because of inclement weather. When it's pretty outside, my SADD is not so unbearable, and I can get out for a drive at least.

Oh, I do hope it plays out before it gets to you, John. It's supposed to be bitter cold here tonight, and we have about five inches of new snow with more coming.

So sad if true, this is what I'd do; make comfort soup and watch the 'Ol 60's bikini beach movies! Or save a DOG or Cat!

Well, I plan to make potato soup tomorrow or Sunday...but I forgot to get the potatoes when I went to the grocery store yesterday, so I'll have to settle, I suppose. If a stray cat or dog came to my door, I would, but I'm not going out looking!
