Home Away from Home

I hope the echoes of our laughter still linger in your halls, and dust from our shoes still clings to your floors. I hope your tables still cradle the dreams we wove with ink — amid silent sighs and tired eyes, our thoughts drifting far and away. I hope you still sing our song, tuned with secrets we once shared, with notes born from inside jokes, while silent promises hung in the air I left a piece of myself with you, my home away from home.
